The Isomed Medical Support Unit

DenMac was formed in 1998 by Ian Denton and Donnie MacDonald, and incorporated on the 30th May 2001, Ian and Donnie have over 50 years experience between them working as remote medics, both in the the military and in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry.

The concept for the Isomed was born out of necessity as current facilities proved totally inadequate for the provision of even the most basic standards of medical care. Thus Ian and Donnie joined forces and conceptualised the design of the Isomed.

Two important issues needed to be addressed regarding the delivery of remote medical operations: -
-A unit capable of supporting personnel in delivering the highest standards of care possible in the field.
-A unit which could be easily transported and deployed.

From identifying this and recognising this shortage the concept has now come to the point of fruition, in the format of the Isomed mobile medical support unit.
